Intro to Yoga
Introduction to Yoga Workshop with Stephanie
Saturday - February 20, 2021, 1 - 3:30 p.m.
Are you thinking about practicing yoga but you don't know how or where to start? Join Stephanie for this workshop, which includes introducing the fundamentals of yoga philosophy, a brief history of yoga, how to breathe and linking that breath to your postures, as well as step-by-step foundational yoga postures, including Sun Salutation A. This workshop is designed to provide you with the necessary tools to begin your yoga journey.
All participants will receive a free class pass to any beginner (Basics/Yin/Gentle) class.
If you do not already own a mat, we have some sanitized mats available at the studio.
Stephanie is a 200 hr RYT who has been teaching to beginners since the beginning of her yoga career. She has been the evening Yoga Basics teacher at Breathe for the 3 years.
